Graduated as Dr. iur. from the University of Zurich in 1992 and as an LL.M. from the University of Chicago in 1996. Non-executive director of Hilti AG (Liechtenstein). Trustee of the Martin Hilti Family Trust and president of the donor foundation of Avenir Suisse, a Swiss free-market think tank.
