Daniel C. Kolb is a partner in Ropes & Gray's New York office. His practice focuses on tax matters, including tax matters relating to private equity, real estate, and hedge funds; joint ventures; REITs; inbound and outbound investments; and corporate matters. The latter include providing advice to (1) large institutional investors (including sovereign wealth funds and non-U.S. pension plans) with respect to their private equity, hedge, timber and real estate fund investments and (2) in connection with secondary and co-investment transactions.
