Cristián Francos, who is dual-qualified in Argentina and the United States, is a partner at Lewis Baach Kaufmann Middlemiss and heads the firm’s Latin America practice. His more than two decades of experience in both civil and common law jurisdictions make him ideally situated to assist Latin American clients in navigating the U.S. legal system.
Career
Prior to joining LBKM, Mr. Francos spent six years with the largest law firm in Argentina, was a chief of staff at the City of Buenos Aires Legislature, and practiced as a foreign attorney with another prestigious U.S. law firm.
Who’s Who Legal consistently recognizes Mr. Francos as a leading practitioner in the area of investigations, and in 2019 he was highlighted by Global Investigations Review as a lawyer of note and a member of Argentina's investigations bar. He currently serves as co-chair of the International Bar Association’s Business Crime Committee.
