Managing Partner Clemens Hasenauer is Head of Department Corporate Transactions focusing on M&A and public takeover transactions. He heads the Department since the year 2007. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, takeover law, banking and finance, reorganisations and restructurings. His broad experience includes numerous complex public and private M&A transactions, and he is particularly renowned for structuring large international joint ventures and public takeovers. In past years Clemens regularly advised on Austria’s most prominent transactions.
Clemens is also a university lecturer (holding M&A classes for post-graduate studies) and is author of a number of publications, in particular in the field of corporate, M&A, takeover and capital markets law. In addition, he is the academic chair of the most renowned annual legal conference in Austria (Business Circle's RuSt) which has a strong focus on legal and tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions and other transactions.
