Managing Partner and Head of Department of Takeovers & Antitrust. Partner since 2004, with CERHA HEMPEL since 1995. Albert specializes in mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, as well as joint ventures with a special focus on Austria and (CEE/SEE). He has developed particular expertise in the fields of structuring and implementation of corporate transactions, takeover mechanics and the modelling of co-ownership structures.
Albert was/is a lead partner on many prominent matters for several years already and holds an extremely vast track record. He is an author and regular contributor of numerous publications.
Recent examples of deals include, advice to Karl Wlaschek Group (KWPS) and AMISOLA Immobilien AG in real estate portfolio purchases with a value of approximately EUR 400 million, as well as advice to GfK SE in a pol-European sale of its custom research business.
