Christopher Maulkin

Chris is a Director in our Brighton team and deals with all issues in respect of finances and children. Chris has developed a particular expertise in dealing with financial matters (particularly those cases involving business assets – where he has considerable experience in working with accountants and commercial lawyers) and family issues involving unmarried couples.

Chris is also a Collaborative Lawyer. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2011 and joined Family Law Partners in 2013 having been attracted to working in a firm which solely specialises in family law and so was able to focus upon the specific needs of his clients.

Chris is a member of Resolution and adopts a constructive and solution-focused approach with all his clients as he is passionate that this is more likely to lead to an amicable agreement being reached and avoid the need for expensive litigation.

In his spare time Chris enjoys spending time with his young family and Karate. He also enjoys music and walking his Labrador on the South Downs.
