Practice Areas
Admitted to the Paris Bar, Christopher Lalloz is a partner in the Tax practice of the Paris office and one of the co-heads of the firm's global Tax Controversy group.
Building on extensive experience gained on successful tax audits and litigations for a wide range of French and foreign clients as well as on his deep knowledge of the international regulatory environment, Christopher focuses his activity on structuring organizations, transactions and investment schemes with measured risk-taking and, where necessary, defending his clients’ position before the French tax authorities or the French courts.
Christopher represents corporate clients in their day-to-day tax management (transfer pricing, management of their global effective tax rate) or exceptional transactions (restructuring, acquisitions, reorganizations) and high net worth individuals and successful entrepreneurs in all matters relating to their personal taxation (including the implementation and optimization of dedicated equity incentive structures).
Christopher also offers investment funds’ managers/advisors a specific range of services on the organization of their global fund structures (compensation of General Partner, structuring of the carried interest mechanism for French members of the management teams, organization of relationships between the various services entities, co-investment structures, etc.).
Christopher represents clients (French and global corporate and individual clients) from the audit phase or the simple request of information by tax authorities to administrative and judicial appeals. He also intervenes in the negotiation of tax rulings and litigation related to the application of this type of agreement before administrative commissions.
In addition to his native French, Christopher is fluent in English.
