Charanjit Batt

Charanjit practices exclusively in family law, with the focus of her practice being financial applications relating to matrimonial and children proceedings.

Charanjit has a particular interest in cases with an international aspect, and is often instructed in cases involving a foreign component (offshore trusts/assets, jurisdictional issues, enforcement). As well as acting alone in high value and complex financial matters, she is also regularly led by silks.

She is often instructed to provide affidavits and opinions on English law for use in foreign proceedings and is a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers.

Charanjit has considerable language skills being fluent in Punjabi and Hindi (spoken and written), and she also speaks Spanish and Urdu to a good level.
