Cesar Coronel is a founding partner of Coronel & Pérez. His practice focuses on complex domestic and international disputes, as well as in corporate matters, among other areas. He is an arbitrator for the International Chamber of Commerce, the ICDR and other arbitral centers. He has also participated in several high profile investment arbitration cases as expert in Ecuadorean Law. He has been member of the ICC Arbitration Court and President of the Arbitration Center of the Guayaquil Chamber of Commerce, Alternate Director for Ecuador at the Inter-American Development Bank, Dean of the Law School and Professor of Civil Law at the Catholic University of Guayaquil, and was President of the Ecuadorian Academy of Corporate Law until 2020.
