Rodrigo is a professor of procedural law and arbitration at several Ecuadorian universities. He was a former president and is currently vice president of the Ecuadorian Arbitration Institute and a full member of the Ecuadorian Procedural Law Institute. He has also been a member of the Court of Honor of the Quito Bar Association.
