Carolina Collantes practice focuses on tax matters for both local and international clients, including entities and individuals, representing their interests through a strong tax litigation practice. She also advices on tax issues related to corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions.
Career
Mrs. Collantes earned her law degree at Universidad de Chile and a Strategy Formulation and Strategy Implementation Dual Certificate, at Tulane University and Universidad de Chile Economics and Business School, as well as the Finance Certificate at Universidad de Chile Economics and Business School.
Prior to founding Fischer y Cía, (former BF&C) she worked at Arthur Andersen and EY, acknowledging 20 years of experience in the tax arena. In addition, in 2004 she became one of the two women professors of the Economic Law Section of Universidad de Chile’s Law School –the most prestigious in Chile-, and in 2007 began teaching at the Master Degree in Taxation at the same Law School. As well, Carolina has been a Professor at the Master Degree in Taxation of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez since 2003, at both law schools she has been recognized as Best Teacher.
