Carolina Collantes' practice focuses on tax matters for both local and international clients, including entities and individuals. She represents their interests through a robust tax litigation practice. Additionally, she provides advice on tax issues related to corporate restructurings, mergers, and acquisitions.
Mrs. Collantes earned her law degree from Universidad de Chile and holds a Dual Certificate in Strategy Formulation and Strategy Implementation from Tulane University and Universidad de Chile Economics and Business School. She also obtained a Finance Certificate from Universidad de Chile Economics and Business School.
Before co-founding Fischer y Cía. (formerly BF&C), she worked at Arthur Andersen and EY, accumulating over 20 years of experience in the tax field. In 2004, she became one of the two women professors in the Economic Law Section at Universidad de Chile's Law School, which is considered the most prestigious law school in Chile. Additionally, in 2007, she began teaching in the Master's Degree in Taxation program at the same Law School. Since 2003, she has also been a Professor in the Master's Degree in Taxation program at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, where she has received recognition as Best Teacher at both law schools.
