Career

Gerardo Cruzat obtained his Law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and his LL.M. from Duke University School of Law in Durham.

Prior to joining Fischer y Cía. in 2021, Gerardo Cruzat served as the President of the Board for the financial division of the Corona group and held the position of Vice President for the remaining operating companies in its retail business. Previously, from 2012 to 2016, he was a Senior Associate and later became a partner leading the Banking & Finances practice at Prieto Abogados. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Associate at Philippi, Yrarrázaval, Pulido & Brunner (now PPU Legal). Additionally, he gained international experience as an International Associate at Clearly Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York and Uría Menéndez in Madrid.
