Carlos is a partner in our Real Estate and Intellectual Property practices. He has more than 30 years of experience advising clients in a broad range of investments in Macau, having been repeatedly recognized as a Band 1 Lawyer and a Market Leader in directories such as Chambers and Partners and IFLR1000.

In his real estate practice, Carlos acts for developers, investment funds and operators and has been involved in some of the most significant real estate transactions in Macau. His experience includes advising on development transactions, sales and purchases, property financing, commercial lettings, and the tax aspects of real estate investment. Carlos also has considerable expertise in the hospitality and retail sectors and regularly advises on hospitality, and shopping mall joint ventures and management contracts.

His intellectual property practice includes advising on contentious and non-contentious matters regarding patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs. Carlos also has considerable experience in handling complex litigation on the protection and enforcement of IP rights.
