Carlos Téllez is Managing Partner of García & Bodán Guatemala and Partner of García & Bodán Managua (Nicaragua).
He is a recognized lawyer in Nicaragua who has advised recognized multinationals on major transactions in a variety of industrial sectors, primarily in the financial sector, telecommunications, infrastructure, distribution, trade, services and real estate. Moreover, he has participated in the review process to present amendments and motions of laws, decrees and draft laws before the National Assembly of Nicaragua.
Clients value Carlos practice for his competent handling of fiduciary and complex offshore structuring issues, demonstrating a deep analysis of local jurisdiction and extensive knowledge of the domestic market.
Current legal representative of Banco Atlántida in Nicaragua since June 2020. He has structured trusts with the main banks of Nicaragua and he actively participates in the activities of the Latin American Congress of Trust (COLAFI, by its acronym in Spanish).
