The economic group Inversiones Atlántida invested in the constitution of Banco Atlántida Nicaragua, S.A. to start its operations in that country, and they were advised by García & Bodán in said process.
Banco Atlántida in Honduras was founded in 1913 an it is one of the most important banks in said country with 189 agencies, 24 automatic banks and more than 900 agents with presence in 18 departments. The Financial Group Atlántida has operations of banking, insurance, pension fund administrator, leasing, among others.
The legal advice provided to Banco Atlántida included governmental corporate matters, license, trademark registration of products that will offer, creation of committees and its regulations -including investment, credit and risks, human resources, operation, security, technology, among others-; revision of manuals and management issues before the regulatory body, all required for the start of its operations.
