Carlos Betoret advises clients on global, EU, and Spanish competition law.

Carlos draws on keen technical skills and a commercial approach to represent international companies before the European Commission (EC) and the Spanish Competition Authority (CNMC) in complex matters involving:

- Merger control

- Cartel and abuse of dominance investigations

- Horizontal and vertical agreements

- Internal competition audits

He has also represented his clients before the Spanish courts, including, regional courts, the High Court and the Supreme Court.

Before joining Latham, Carlos worked in a major international law firm, acting for major Spanish and international corporations across multiple industries.
