Brian S Lichter

Brian is co-head of Davis Polk’s Real Estate practice. He represents property owners, developers, funds, REITs and other financial institutions in a range of commercial real estate transactions. He advises on the acquisition, development and disposition of office, multifamily, SFR portfolio, retail, hotel and data center assets; joint ventures; commercial mortgage, mezzanine, construction and preferred equity financings; and debt restructurings. Brian also leads the firm’s Real Estate Credit group, providing strategic guidance across all real estate finance matters.

Brian is a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.. He serves on the board of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York and holds numerous roles with UJA-Federation of New York, including its Real Estate Executive Committee. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and an associate trustee of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.
