Brian is the National Leader of BLG Beyond Business Immigration, a new department in BLG Beyond that creates efficiencies in serving clients with broad immigration portfolio needs, in addition to specialized and high-profile advisory immigration services through a national service delivery team. More broadly, he practices administrative and regulatory law with a focus on immigration, employment and citizenship matters. Brian has more than 20 years’ experience representing clients in multiple sectors, including information technology, mining, oil and gas, finance, sports and entertainment in the acquisition and transfer of key foreign talent.

Launching BLG Beyond Business Immigration: a one-stop service for strategic advice and high-volume tailored solutions for global mobility needs.

Assisted media giant in relocating its head office to Canada, including its CEO, COO and 400 employees from offices in the UK and US. The team did so while minimizing disruptions to company operations and the lives of its executives and their families by combining strategic expertise with white glove service all well-within the prescribed timeframe.

Advised one of the world's leading computer animators and a multi-Academy Award winning studio in establishing a new animation studio in Canada.

Advised one of the world's largest integrated oil and gas companies in respect of its business immigration matters following the acquisition of a competitor's global oil and gas business, which had serious implications for the client's temporary foreign workers.

Represents a large, foreign-based multinational company involved in operations, maintenance and asset management services in the mining, oil and gas and utility sectors; obtained work permits for several key players to establish a corporate presence in Canada.

Represents one of the world's leading wealth management, capital markets and advisory companies in respect of its Canadian business immigration matters.
