Bhakta Patnaik has extensive experience in the capital markets. Bhakta has advised issuers and investment banks on a broad range of domestic and international transactions, including offerings and private placements of convertible and exchangeable bonds and units of real estate investment trusts and business trusts, leveraged notes and equity upside notes and block trades in India, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. He has been involved in restructuring of debt and equity-linked instruments. He was involved in the drafting of the REIT and InvIT Regulations in India based on his experience in Singapore.
