Practice Areas

Beverly is the head of her firm's national class actions practice, specialising in complex commercial litigation. She has an extensive track record in corporate disputes, contractual disputes, class actions, and regulatory and compliance investigations, as well as in defending claims against directors and professional advisors. Beverly is frequently sought for her advice on shareholder disputes and on issues stemming from contracts for the supply of goods and services, with a particular emphasis on IT services.

Her expertise notably extends to cross-border transactions and includes a deep understanding of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods as it applies to international supply contracts. Beverly's experience is enriched by a significant number of cross-border disputes, including international arbitrations, which is underpinned by several years of working with one of the top-five global law firms in London.

She is a prominent figure in the legal community, serving on the board of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA). Beverly is also a recognised author, being the co-author of the Australian chapters of the Practical Law Class/Collective Actions Global Guide and the Australian contributor to a recent global guide on the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments. Her contributions to the field of international commercial law are both significant and widely respected.
