Practice Areas

Benja's practice focus is in the areas of derivatives, structured finance, wealth management, private banking, and debt capital markets, especially in regard to the regulatory matters under the laws and regulations issued by all regulators of Thailand, as well as fund investments and their associated regulations. She is heavily involved in structured finance and derivatives work for the Firm and as a result of her extensive knowledge and innovative transactions, Baker McKenzie continues to dominate the current market share of the structured products/derivatives debentures transactions in Thailand.

Career

Benja is a partner in the Bangkok office of Baker McKenzie. She joined Baker McKenzie in 2001 and is specialized in the areas of financial products including but not limited to derivatives, structured products, structured finance, wealth management, private banking, fund management, and debt capital markets, especially in regard to the regulatory matters. She has also been acting as a Thai legal counsel for ISDA Association and regularly advises international banks, capital markets intermediaries, fund managers, insurance companies, and other financial institutions on financial services compliance and regulatory matters. She has been recognized by several of the world's leading legal directories.
