Benedikt Hohaus is a partner at POELLATH in Munich.

He is an experienced transaction lawyer and specialises in M&A, private equity, tax law and corporate law. Within these areas, he focuses on advising private equity funds and managers on all legal and tax aspects of management investments, incentives for managers and employees and management buy-out / management buy-in.

He is one of the most preeminent experts in Germany for his advice on management participation programs.

He is a lecturer at the Postgraduate Course of Studies "Mergers & Acquisitions" at the University of Münster and publishes in his areas of expertise on a regular basis.

Career

He was admitted to the bar in 1998 and as a specialist taxation lawyer in 2002. He studied law in Münster/Westphalia (PhD 1997), Boston (Boston Law School) and London (Queen Mary and Westfield College).
