Benedict Y Hur

Ben Hur litigates complex commercial and privacy cases for technology companies of all sizes, including some of the biggest in the world. He has tried cases and argued appeals in state and federal courts across the country. He has served as lead counsel in federal court summary judgment victories on behalf of technology companies and in a trial victory on behalf of a public entity. He has also prevailed on appeals in state and federal appellate courts, including the California Court of Appeal, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th and 9th Circuits and the Texas Court of Appeals.

Ben serves as go-to lead counsel for companies in high-stakes data-privacy class actions involving novel application of consumer protection and privacy statutes. He also has deep expertise handling technology-related investigations and litigation initiated by state AGs. Ben has wide-ranging experience handling commercial disputes of many kinds: including, unfair competition, copyright, trade secret, breach of contract and fund-related disputes.
