Michael Neumeister

Michael is a premier restructuring lawyer highly sought after for his extensive experience in bankruptcy and restructuring across various industries. He represents debtors, lenders and equity holders in complex in-court and out-of-court restructurings, and advises buyers in significant bankruptcy sales. Michael’s practice encompasses litigation of bankruptcy and distressed debt issues in bankruptcy court, state court and appellate courts.

Michael received his JD in 2010 from the University of Southern California (USC) Gould School of Law, where he graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif and served as a senior content editor for the Southern California Law Review. While in law school, Michael also held a judicial externship with Judge Sandra S. Ikuta of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
