Ben Lamb

Ben advises a broad range of clients on all aspects of real estate. He is known for being “commercial, quick and efficient at getting deals over the line”. Prior to moving to Leeds, Ben spent ten years at international firms in London where his clients included a number of blue-chip property investment funds.

In the field of commercial property investment and development, Ben advises a range of well-known property companies as well as private individuals and family trusts. He advises on acquisitions and disposals, conditional contracts, landlord and tenant issues and on development agreements. This encompasses all type of commercial real estate including logistics, retail and leisure, offices and industrial.

Ben leads the department’s real estate secured finance offering. He acts for a range of high street and challenger banks who generate a high volume of mixed investment and development finance instructions.

Ben also acts for a large number of occupiers of commercial property which encompasses leisure, retail and office operators. This includes negotiating new leases, managing tenant exits from properties and advising on licences to assign, licences for works and rent deposit deeds.
