Augustas Klezys

Augustas is a Finance Sector Team Leader at the firm, leading a team of legal experts to identify and address clients’ specific legal needs, delivering precise and effective solutions. FinTech firms frequently turn to Augustas for guidance on licensing their activities within the EU and optimizing operations post-licensing, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

During his career, he has had the privilege of advising financial sector companies on some of the most complex and innovative transactions. Notable examples include his work with Lithuanian legal teams on key projects such as Nasdaq, Luminor, Šiaulių Bankas, and the LNG Terminal transactions.

In 2018, Augustas co-authored the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) netting country opinion for Lithuania. As a representative of Sorainen, an ISDA member, he actively participates in meetings and provides insights on national derivatives-related regulations.
