Atle Skaldebø-Rød valid member of BAHR’s Dispute Resolution team and is a highly experienced and acclaimed all-round litigator. He represents BAHR’s clients in cases before the ordinary courts and in arbitration, as well as in alternative forms of dispute resolution, both nationally and internationally.
Atle handles complex disputes within a broad field of expertise, including commercial contracts, marine insurance, post-M&A issues, D&O liability, insolvency, and shareholder rights, in addition to public law matters such as tax, charges and general administrative law. Atle is also experienced with specialised procedures like interim measures and securing of evidence. Further, he assists clients which operate in Norway and abroad on anti-corruption and compliance issues, as well as cases regarding corporate penalties.
Atle was admitted to the Supreme Court in 2008. He has been leading counsel on five civil cases that were pleaded orally before the Supreme Court.
He is member of the Norwegian Bar Association’s Legislative Policy Committee for Civil Proceedings and Arbitration and ICC Norway’s Commission for Arbitration and ADR. Additionally, he is a board member of the Norwegian Maritime Law Association.
