Arthur Seligman

Practice Areas

Arthur Seligman is a Partner at Lennox Paton and is head of the firm’s Trusts and Foundations Group. His overall practice areas include private client, corporate and commercial matters, banking and financial services, trusts and estates. He has vast experience of the Bahamian legal system and government departments. He also has experience in the courts of The Bahamas, appearing in trust and contentious probate matters. Arthur has written numerous articles and has spoken at conferences in respect to Bahamian law.

Career

Arthur started his career at the Office of the Attorney General and has a unique perspective on the workings of government and regulatory bodies. He is a member of the Bahamas Financial Services Board’s Trust Working Group (2011 – present) and is a former director of the Bahamas Financial Services Board (2012 – 2014). He is also Honorary Consul for Israel in The Bahamas.
