Andy Tarr is co-chair of Robinson Bradshaw’s Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group. His practice focuses primarily on bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, Article 9 foreclosures, business loan workouts, and business and real estate litigation. Andy represents private credit companies, banks, private equity companies, portfolio companies and purchasers in complex financial restructuring matters, including inside and outside of Chapter 11 bankruptcy and other insolvency proceedings. He also represents commercial landlords and trade creditors in all aspects of Chapter 11 and other financial restructuring matters. Andy calls on over two decades of courtroom experience in litigation and bankruptcy to provide creative strategies that produce efficient, effective resolutions.
Andy has lectured on various bankruptcy topics at state and local conferences. He also has served as chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Section, as well as many other leadership roles for the Bankruptcy Section.
