Business cases including unfair prejudice petitions and other claims to vindicate shareholder rights; claims for breaches of directors duties; breaches of trust and fiduciary duty; breach of warranty disputes, often arising after the sale of a business; partnership disputes, including disputes within solicitors' own partnerships; litigation over commercial contracts and disputes about the scope of remedies such as specific performance, taking accounts, assessment of damages and unjust enrichment.

Property cases including access to neighbouring land to build a new roof on Leeds Opera House; easements at the Richard Seiffert-designed Gateway House at Manchester Piccadilly station; removing liens over the Fox Street Village development in Liverpool; recreational easements at Broome Park, Kent (from trial to the Supreme Court); litigation over the lease at Haigh Hall, Lancashire; an easement to fly through airspace and to take off and land in Northumberland.
