Product liability: acting for defendants in group and unitary actions, particularly relating to pharmaceutical products, medical devices and motor vehicles. Public, administrative and local government law, and, in particular, public procurement and state aid: advises central government, local and other public authorities on a broad range of matters including powers, finance, social services, education, waste, civil contingencies and anti-terrorism. Health & safety law: represents corporate clients in respect of regulatory prosecutions, civil proceedings and inquests.

Educated at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge (1991-95) (BA 1st Class Honours; MA); Called 1996 Middle Temple (Queen Mother-Fox Major Entrance Scholarship). Junior Counsel to the Crown (A Panel 2011-), (B Panel 2008-11); Junior Counsel to the Welsh Government (Public Law Panel 2009-2012); Junior Counsel to the Welsh Government (Public Law - A Panel, 2012-). Appointed QC in 2018.
