Product liability: acting for defendants in group and unitary actions, particularly relating to pharmaceutical products, medical devices and motor vehicles. Inquests and public inquiries: acting as Counsel to the Inquiry and representing core participants in major public inquiries; Public procurement: advises central government, local and other public authorities on a broad range of procurement matters (particularly defence-related); Health & safety law: represents corporate clients in respect of regulatory prosecutions, civil proceedings and inquests.

Career

Educated at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge (1991-95) (BA 1st Class Honours; MA); Called 1996 Middle Temple (Queen Mother-Fox Major Entrance Scholarship). Junior Counsel to the Crown (A Panel 2011-18); Junior Counsel to the Welsh Government (Public Law - A Panel, 2012-18); Counsel to the Grenfell Tower Inquiry (2017-). Appointed KC in 2018.
