Andrew is responsible for investment sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring portfolio investments. He has significant experience litigating complex antitrust and insurance recovery cases and has represented corporate clients in a range of commercial litigation matters, including fraud, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty matters.
Prior to joining Longford, he was a member of the litigation departments of some of the most prestigious law firms in the country, including Hunton & Williams LLP (now Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP) and McGuireWoods LLP. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights since January 2022, and he has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia School of Law teaching litigation finance.
Before entering private practice, Andrew clerked for the Honorable Charles A. Pannell, Jr., of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Andrew commented, “I came to Longford because I believed that litigation finance, done right, could fundamentally change outcomes for companies and individuals with meritorious claims but faced well-resourced opponents. The work we do every day confirms that belief. When a sophisticated funder stands behind a claim, it changes the entire dynamic of the litigation.”
