Notable practitioners

Michael Nicolas is the co-founder and a managing director at Longford Capital. He oversees the investment selection and underwriting processes at the firm.

Sources say: "Mike is extremely well versed in litigation, as well as funding. He is a fantastic partner at every step of the process. On more than one occasion, Mike has provided invaluable insight about a court decision or a strategy that comes from his deep experience funding cases for other major law firms. He would be fantastic to have as a partner on a case – even if he wasn’t providing the financing."
