Cindy Ahn

Cindy is a senior advisor to Longford Capital where she provides counsel on portfolio investments Most recently, Cindy was a director with the firm responsible for investment sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring of portfolio investments. She has assisted companies in the licensing, sale, and enforcement of intellectual property rights in a wide array of industries, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, biosimilars, electronics, computers, software, telecommunications, medical devices, and many others.

Prior to joining Longford Capital, Cindy was a member of the Intellectual Property groups of some of the most prestigious law firms in the country including Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP; Kirkland & Ellis, LLP; Schiff Hardin, LLP; and Global IP Law Group, LLC. She has significant experience litigating complex intellectual property matters in federal courts throughout the U.S., including the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Cindy also served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Third Wave Technologies, Inc., a publicly traded molecular diagnostics company.
