Andreas Bernt

Andreas Bernt is a partner in Haavind, in the Technology, Media and IPR department. He specialises in intellectual property rights and media and marketing law.

Andreas is a highly ranked lawyer both on the national and international market within IPR and TMT. He assists clients with counselling, contracts and dispute resolution, and has broad litigation experience from complex disputes related to copyright, patents, trademarks, marketing law, media law and technology projects.

He has extensive experience in assisting players in the media industry, particularly within TV distribution, film production, streaming of content and publishing of newspapers, magazines and books. Andreas assists clients in media and marketing law and has in-depth knowledge of the regulations that apply to the industry.

Andreas is also active in projects related to intellectual property law and technology development, with a particular focus on the purchase, sale, licensing and management of intellectual property rights – including the protection and commercialisation of data.

He is among the few Norwegian lawyers who are highly ranked in leading international rankings within both intellectual property and technology. Andreas is highlighted in Chambers & Partners within TMT – Media, ranked as a leader in both IPR and TMT in Legal 500, featured in Kapital’s lawyer survey within Culture, Sports and Media, and ranked as a “Copyright Star” in IP Stars.

Andreas chairs Haavind’s internal ethics committee and also advises on legal ethics issues.
