Andrea Arndt is an award winning intellectual property attorney with more than 20 years of experience advising clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to emerging growth businesses and innovative startups on the creation, protection, enforcement, and monetization of intellectual property assets worldwide. She leads sophisticated U.S. and international patent, trademark, and copyright portfolios spanning over 50 jurisdictions and a wide range of industries, including technology, automotive, medical devices, consumer products, and e commerce. Andrea is recognized for delivering business driven IP strategies that enhance portfolio value, reduce risk, and support commercial objectives, including structuring and negotiating high value licensing and transactional matters and supporting IP driven M&A activity.
Her practice encompasses complex patent prosecution across electrical, computer, mechanical, and biomedical technologies, Freedom to Operate and patentability analyses, and post grant proceedings, including inter partes reviews and reexaminations. Andrea also regularly handles contentious IP matters, including cease and desist enforcement, global anti counterfeiting and takedown campaigns, and IP related litigation strategy, often safeguarding clients’ market positions and preventing substantial litigation exposure. Drawing on her engineering background and deep regulatory insight, she is frequently called upon to guide clients through cross border enforcement challenges and to develop scalable, cost effective global protection strategies that align legal risk management with long term business growth.
