One of the founding partners of Souto Correa Lawyers, Anderson is a Specialist in Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies (IBET) and a Specialist in Tax, Financial, and Economic Law from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). He attended the Management Program for Lawyers (MPL) at Yale University, New Haven (USA), and the Advanced Management Program (PGA) from the Dom Cabral Foundation, in partnership with INSEAD, in Fontainebleau (FR). He was President of the Federation of Business Entities of Rio Grande do Sul (FEDERASUL) for the biennium 2021/2022, and is currently the Vice-President of the Confederation of Commercial and Business Associations of Brazil (CACB), serving as the Coordinator of the Entity’s Legal Committee. He is a member of the Higher School of Tax Law Foundation (FESDT), the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT), and the International Fiscal Association (IFA). Author of several articles and books especially focused on Tax Law, among which the work “Non-cumulativity of ICMS: normative dimension and efficacy” has been highlighted by international publications such as “Chambers & Partners”, “The Legal 500”, and “Leaders League” as one of the most admired lawyers in the area of Tax Law. His professional experience covers both tax consultancy and litigation, including representing clients in negotiations with the Public Power and demands before Superior Courts. He advises national and foreign clients from various economic sectors in complex and transactional cases, particularly in the food, energy, petrochemical, and technology sectors.

Co-authored the book “Taxation of Profits Earned by Subsidiaries and Affiliates Abroad, in International Taxation: transfer pricing, thin capitalization, and taxation of profits of affiliates and subsidiaries abroad” (INEJE, 2012)

Author of the book “Não-cumulatividade do ICMS” [Non-cumulative ICMS] (Livraria do Advogado, 2008).
