Anders W Færden

Anders W. Færden is a Partner at Wikborg Rein's Oslo office and is the global head of the firm's insurance team and the head of the Shipping Offshore dispute team at the Oslo office.

He is a specialist in marine and non-marine insurance law, maritime law, contract law, tort, the law of intermediaries, professional liability and litigation. He is admitted to the Supreme Court and has extensive litigation experience before the Norwegian courts and in arbitration proceedings particularly regarding insurance cover disputes, recovery, shipping and offshore disputes, professional liability and brokerage/commission. Færden is also appointed as arbitrator. He is ranked by Legal 500 as a "leading individual" in insurance law. He is also ranked by Chambers and Partners and in the Norwegian Financial Daily's lawyers survey. He lectures on marine insurance law at the University of Oslo and at the Nordic Association of Marine Insurers' (Cefor) Academy.
