Ana Lucía Parra

Lawyer from Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, she holds a Master Degree in Economic Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

Ms. Parra became a Non-equity partner of the Firm in July 2018. She coordinates the representation of national companies within legal proceedings related to antitrust, unfair competition, consumer protection, and administrative law.

Since joining the Firm in 2012, she has provided legal advice on competition matters and has successfully participated and represented the interests of different companies in almost all the Firm's cases in the competition/antitrust area. Her role also includes coordinating the team in each case, and being in constant communication with clients, who appreciate her determination to adequately understand the sector and market in which they participate to design jointly the most appropriate legal strategy to their needs.

Before joining Ibarra Abogados, she worked at the Council of State drafting rulings on trademarks, patents, and telecommunications. Previously, she worked at the Constitutional Court of Colombia where she participated in the drafting of relevant decisions regarding public law and human rights.
