Amy Benest

Amy Benest is a Partner in the Jersey office. She is a Jersey Advocate and an English Solicitor, who joined Baker and Partners in March 2023.

Amy specialises in all types of trusts disputes, including acting for beneficiaries and trustees. Her experience ranges across administrative actions as well as contentious trust matters. She understands the personal relationships, which have often been strained by the dispute, in a trust context. She has a broad practice dealing with insolvency matters, property disputes, and commercial disputes.

Having worked in Jersey, Guernsey and London, Amy brings a breadth of experience to her work.

Acting for a number of family members against another branch of the family during the re-organisation and eventual winding up of a trust.

Acting as an Attourné in conducting a dégrèvement of a Jersey property.

Advising a trustee in bringing a trust to an end.
