Amund Brede Svendsen’s areas of concentration are patents, trademarks, unfair competition law and trade secrets (contentious and non-contentious). Admitted to the Supreme Court. Amund has extensive litigation experience in the following areas: patents (especially pharmaceuticals, biosimilars and oil and gas services industry) and IP-related commercial litigation. He advises on patents and trademarks validity and infringement issues and on issues relating to employee inventors’ rights, trade secrets, unfair competition and marketing law and pharmaceuticals regulatory law and represents clients in disputes relating to these areas. He drafts and negotiates technology transfer, R&D and consortium agreements. Amund has experience as an arbitrator in international commercial arbitration cases.
