Amanda Persaud is a widely recognized trusted adviser to global sponsors of private funds. Her fund formation practice focuses on open- and closed-end private funds of all types, including private equity, private credit, hedge, infrastructure, real estate and specialized strategies such as direct lending, distressed debt and opportunistic funds.

Amanda’s experience spans the full gamut of investment fund activity. She regularly advises on a wide range of governance, operational, and regulatory matters affecting sponsors and their funds. She has significant experience advising sponsors in structuring and reorganizing funds, including continuation vehicles, as well as advising on sponsor-level governance and management arrangements.

Amanda’s work in asset management M&A and sponsor solutions includes GP stakes transactions, succession planning, management buyouts, preferred equity structures, joint ventures and spin-outs.
