Álvaro Barro, an attorney with a strong track record in the financial practice, serves as a partner in the Madrid office. His specialization lies in financial operations related to the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Álvaro has worked for both national and international law firms and companies, providing advice across a wide range of financing areas.

His deep expertise allows him to offer strategic guidance and effective solutions to clients in complex and innovative transactions, including project financing, acquisitions, corporate matters, restructurings, and project bonds. Additionally, he has extensive experience in power purchase agreements (PPAs).

Álvaro holds a law degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid and an International MBA from the IE Business School.

He has also lectured on project financing and PPAs at institutions such as the University San Pablo CEU, the University of Navarra, and the Spanish Energy Club.
