Alon specializes in creditors’ arrangements and insolvency, as well as directors and officers liability.
Alon has vast experience and expertise in all matters associated with insolvency and debt restructuring, including receivership proceedings, creditors’ arrangements and stay of proceedings.
Since the 2008 financial crisis, Alon has handled hundreds of insolvency and restructuring cases, including some of the largest creditors’ arrangements and acquisitions of financially distressed companies in Israel, such as the creditors’ arrangements of Delek Real Estate, Kardan N.V., Elbit Imaging and Israel Petrochemical Enterprises, as well as the acquisition of the IDB Group and the Blue Square Group.
In addition, Alon deals with commercial law, various aspects of corporate law (public and private companies), securities and capital markets, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
