Alison Hollender

Alison knows the legal issues of healthcare transactions backwards and forwards—and she also knows the concerns and goals of the organizations involved.

Before pursuing a law career, Alison worked at Cook Children’s Healthcare System and earned a master’s in healthcare administration. Both experiences gave her an inside view of healthcare organizations.

Today, Alison provides counsel on licensure and certification of healthcare facilities, regulatory compliance and operations, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and corporate healthcare transactions. She represents individual healthcare professionals, hospitals and health systems, and ambulatory surgical centers. Alison regularly helps clients license and accredit new facilities, relocate, undergo mergers and changes of ownership, and navigate transactions in compliance with healthcare regulations.

She loves the detail of these projects, and she’s passionate about ensuring that the end result meets the client’s needs. Her background means that she readily understands client goals and priorities, and she is known for providing clients with clear answers and walking them through their legal options.
