Alf advises on a broad variety of competition aspects, with a focus on German and EU merger control. He obtained clearances in several second phase merger control proceedings of the German Federal Cartel Office (FCO) on behalf of his clients and assisted companies on antitrust investigations of the European Commission as well as the FCO.
Career
Alf joined Hengeler Mueller in 1994, and has been partner since 2000 (resident partner in the Brussels office 2006-2012). He spent one year on secondment at a law firm in Washington, D.C.
