ALEX CHONG has extensive experience in a wide range of capital markets transactions in Asia and other markets. He represents issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings, private placements, high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings, and offerings of convertible and exchangeable debt. He is also highly skilled in liability management transactions, including tender and exchange offers, consent solicitations, and general securities law matters. Alex advises clients throughout the Asia-Pacific region, including Indonesia, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines. His experience includes transactions involving a broad range of sectors, including real estate, technology, media and telecommunications, financial institutions, transportation, metals and mining, consumer products, and energy, oil, and gas. Prior to relocating to Singapore, Alex practiced in Hong Kong and London.
