Career

Alexandre Jabra is a senior member of the Environmental, Consumer, and Sustainability practice group at Trench Rossi Watanabe, where he has worked since 2010. His practice focuses on legal consultancy, administrative proceedings, litigation, strategic negotiations. He has been consistently recognized by leading Brazilian legal rankings for his outstanding performance as an associate in the areas of Environmental, Consumer, and ESG law.

In Consumer Law, Alexandre advises on a wide range of matters including product recalls, e-commerce compliance, abusive practices and clauses, review of terms and conditions, and the launch of new products and services in Brazil. He also provides regulatory guidance on labeling, packaging, and advertising.

In the Environmental and Sustainability field, Alexandre has extensive experience with environmental licensing, liability, site contamination, waste management and take-back schemes, effluents, air emissions, forestry and biodiversity issues, protected areas, indigenous and minority rights, chemical regulations, climate change and carbon markets.

He is also a frequent speaker and invited professor of Environmental Law, Consumer Law, and ESG classes at leading institutions such as PUC-SP, Mackenzie, and FGV.
