Alex offers specialist advice on Wills and Estate planning, Inheritance Tax mitigation, Grants of Probate and administration of Estates (acting as an Executor if required). She also prepares Lasting Powers of Attorney and acts as an attorney or deputy for some clients. Alex also advises on Trusts and acts as a Trustee.

Alex has a significant personal following, having acted for several generations of high net worth families.

Career

Alex trained with a London firm (qualifying as a solicitor in 1989) and worked there for over ten years. She moved out of London to work more locally as Head of Department, joining Taylor Walton in 2009 as a Partner. She became Head of Department in 2019. Alex has over 30 years’ experience in the Private Client field.

Personal

Alex was born and grew up in Harpenden, Hertfordshire and attended schools locally. She graduated from Durham University and after attending Guildford Law School trained and worked initially in London and then in St Albans.

In her spare time Alex enjoys travelling both within the UK and abroad, gardening, eating out and spending time with her family.
