Alexandra Doytchinova is Managing Partner of Schoenherr’s Sofia office since its establishment in 2004 and co-heads the corporate/M&A group at Schoenherr. She specialises in Corporate/M&A and project development, including PPP structures, in particular in the energy and real estate industries where she has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Alexandra is dual-qualified in Bulgaria and Austria allows her to blend high international standards with local understanding of her clients' business and strategic, legal and commercial needs. A highly regarded figure on the Bulgarian market, Alexandra has been routinely involved in many "front page" transactions in Bulgaria and the SEE region. She advises major international clients on their market entry and direct investments in Bulgaria. Working with both domestic and international clients from a variety of industries, energy, real estates and telecommunications in particular, she has built up a track record of successful domestic and cross-border M&A deals, private equity investments and joint ventures, as advisor to investors, sellers or target companies. Before joining Schoenherr in 2002, she worked as teaching assistant at the Institute for Civil and International Private Law at the University of Graz.
